Colin is a neighbor of mine and I've watched him grow up. Taking his senior pictures was an honor for me. It gave me a chance to get to get to know his high school self as I hadn't really talked to him in a while. He is a big swimmer so part of his session was at the pool. I had never taken senior pictures at a pool before but I was willing to try. I researched and got a few ideas. We took pics of him swimming, diving as well as that close up where he is resting his arms on the lane lines. One of my faves! This session was in Fall, 2021 during covid, when there were A LOT of restrictions so we felt lucky to be allowed into the pool area to take the pictures.

Colin, his mom and I also went to downtown for some urban shots and then ended the session with the car/sunset pictures. It was really fun to see what Colin wore and to get to know him again as we explored all around San Jose. Check out the sneakers he wore. I didn't realize that unique sneakers were a popular thing with the boys, but now I do.

We ended the session with the sun setting, Colin by his car, and of course, pics with his mom. Gotta get Mom in a few!
